The heart of our Sauvignon Blanc I comes from a high density planting in Deidesheim's Paradiesgarten.A cornucopia of exotic fruit meets noble reduction, brillant acidity and the structure and density of great white wines. The gentle aging in big oak barrels and the prolonged stay on the lees take away some of the youthfullness but adds a great amount of structure and complexity. Aromas of stone fruit,vanilla and some herbs makes you want to breathe in more. On the palate apricots, pear and peach are combined with vanilla notes and hints of honey wich is counterbalanced by some fine minerality. Definitely a food wine.
