Kirchenstück GG ( Premier Grand Cru) lies sheltered at the edge of the village Forst and is Germany’s most valuable vineyard. The sandstone walls and the sheltered vineyard bring out a wine with a special character. As the yields are so low the wine is on allocation already for the next 3 years.

Sandstone, limestone and basalt in the soil, spontaneously fermented in 500l oak barrels and 1,5 years on the lees. A monumental Riesling with great power and dignity.
