This Sauvignon Blanc is wonderfully colourful and expressive. It is the youngest child of the Petri Wine family and we were impressed right from the first harvest.

Its bouquet is elegant and filigree, but not intrusive. A wealth of different, opulent aromas of gooseberries and exotic fruits such as pineapple and kiwi but also green apple present themselves in the first impression. Pleasant grassy notes, hints of dried orange and subtle floral notes round off this harmonious scent composition.

The taste of this Sauvignon Blanc shows a slim, juicy length, which is characterised by a soft acid structure. Above all, fruitfulness stands out on the tongue,the wine reminds one of a fruit salad and fresh lime.

Its variety of flavours and lean bodied, soft structure combines to create a refined, elegant finish.

How the wine is made

Harvest of healthy, perfectly ripened grapes in mid-September. Gentle processing of the grapes to protect appreciative aromas. Fermentation in used, large wooden barrels, so that the fruit can bind very finely, elegant and not too explosively.
