On the nose, this Riesling Spätlese shows fine, sparse, mineral notes. It‘s scent is dominated by lemon balm and ripe Mirabelle plum. This pleasant scent is complemented by subtle notes of elderflower and the fresh abrasion of an orange.

The taste of this Riesling is balanced in its acidity structure and presents itself as an elegant, powerful wine.

A touch of cedar wood and fine citrus notes enrich this multifaceted Riesling. The palate and tongue are characterized by a clear, soft structure, which is surrounded by spicy-ethereal aromas. A long, salty-mineral mouth feeling creates the long finish of this Riesling.

One of the top single vineyard sites in the Palatinate - mainly consisting of limestone marl. Perfect for the mineral Riesling style! The plot, embedded in a valley basin, is protected from rough winds and can develop its full potential through warmer temperatures. Harvested at the beginning of October and slowly fermented in large, used wooden barrels after gentle pressing. Maturation in wooden barrels on full lees for 7 months.
