Riesling Eiswein is surprisingly cool and fruity with the scent of chilled pear and a slightly creamy whipped cream. Dried yellow fruit and subtle notes of dried fruit combine with the aroma of a summer meadow.

The mouth feeling is concentrated and yet fresh. Herbal notes stay on the tongue for a long time. In the aftertaste, it leaves a full, sliding mouth feeling without being intrusive. Slightly exotic in taste with the pleasant taste of dried fruit, plum and sage. The high acidity of the wine compensates the sweetness very well and gives the wine a youthfull appearance. Eiswein becomes more and more a rarity as frost sets in later and later due to the overall warming.

The honey sack location extends from the east, south to west around Herxheim am Berg and is characterized by weathered limestone soils. A perfect location for Riesling and Burgundy varieties with enormous potential for ripening.

Harvested berries in optimal condition at -10 ° C in mid-December 2012. The pure extract was obtained through gentle pressing, which is fermented in the stainless steel tank and shows an intense concentration in the wine.
