In 2019 we were able to purchase a small plot of an older Sauvignon Blanc vineyard. The vines are currently in the transition to organic. The first grapes are already very promising. We opted for a later harvest time and thus brought the full potential of 2019 into our wine cellar in a selective manual harvest. The Jura has significantly shaped our soils. In the Sauvignon Blanc site, various sands of the primeval Rhine, on whose former bank Vendersheim is located, have been deposited. This characterizes our Sauvignon Blanc significantly.Ripe passion fruit and stone fruit on the nose and on the palate, plus a subtle saltiness and well-integrated acidity bring out the exoticism of the Sauvignon Blanc in a beautiful balance. Subtle elegance that we already enjoy a lot. Selective hand harvesting, directly pressed, spontaneous fermented in Stainless steel (90%), 10% 300l french oak barrels.
