Light, clear colour, on the first nose it is reminiscent of a delicate elderflower syrup with a hint of small apricots that are still hard. As soon as it has been swirled in the glass, this slightly green note gains dominance, but not unpleasantly so. On the palate it does not have the typical perfumed yellow muscatel and is therefore a nice accompaniment to food. This is a wine of which one likes to drink a second or third glass. It is strong with very restrained acidity, which only comes into effect late and thus allows the wine to be present in the mouth & longer in the finish. Easily imaginable with salads with fresh fruit or with mussels or boiled beef, classically prepared with horseradish.
