If you are used to wooded Chardonnays this is a difference. This wine has not touched any wood so its full natural fruit flavour presents itself right after opening. It has a fine floral bouquet ripe peach vanilla and cassis. The wine stayed longer on the lees to give it more mouthfeel and add some creaminess to the palate. This is basically the only intrusion of the winemaker. A true chardonnay for all who enjoy a lighter fresh Chardonnay without thing that you chew on a piece of oak at the same time. It is not in the league of a Pouilly Montracet but gives you great enjoyment and Value during your next summer evening with friends on the terrace or boat. Country : Germany
