This Merlot has a classically strong nose with intense aromas of sour cherries and plums. It impresses with fine notes of dark chocolate and light wood and roasted aromas.

Presented in the glass and mouth,it appears strong and full-bodied with a velvety soft tannin structure. Notes of mocha and plum come up, as well as red stone fruit.

Long-lasting mouthfeel with a chocolate and vanilla aftertaste.

Selective hand picking of ripe grapes at the end of September. Maximum yield of 55 hl / ha. Vines are grown on calcareous soils in Herxheim am Berg. Mash fermentation in stainless steel tank with subsequent wood barrel maturation for 10 months.
